a perfect day…
hiking with dad in the morning…and discovering how to get free candy at night:

gigi wrestled him to his costume…

i fought hard to get whiskers drawn on the face…

and a perfect little lion emerged!

the highlight of the night was that jack’s friend julian dressed as elmo – so trick-or-treating is great, but trick-or-treating with elmo is fabulous!

everything’s better with dad:

“saying words like i love ya’…yeah. my heart like a KICKDRUM!” -the avett brothers
jack’s introduction to ken’s first love…

a day at the pumpkin patch
today we went to our first pumpkin patch with grandpa bob and grandma susan…very “fallish”, and very fun!

all the best of jack…
i couldn’t believe it, but at one time jack was wearing or surrounded by all that he loves most in the world (besides us of course!).
his hat.
his water bottle.
his music box.
his boots.
and cheese.

we’re back!
after a short hiatus from blogging…here’s the williams family again! we had a fabulous summer. i had to work full time, so i missed having my tuesdays and wednesday off with jack – but we made up for it. and although it is officially september, the sun is shining, jack and i just got done playing in the back yard and we are soaking it up until the summer breeze leaves for good.
we went to charlevoix and north carolina for our summer trips this year. jack was a trooper in the car (except on the 11 hour drive from north carolina, you can only imagine the quantity and quality of screaming that occured…)
jack discovered the joy of getting in and out…and in and out…and in and out of the suitcase as we tried to get packed!

we celebrated uncle gary’s 70th birthday at the country club…apparently, jack was thrilled with his mac and cheese

and we spent alot of time playing…

just my boys…
ken, jack, isaac and clarke took a hike…literally. they went deep into the woods and explored everything – i believe my husband tasted heaven that day:

just chillin…
jack and i were just loving the rays…me in my chair and jack in his own adirondack chair from aunt jacque!
